I’m Maximilian, a Viennese with Italian-Romanian roots who’s on a long-term trip since 2018 and has lived in Berlin and Italy, furthermore, exploring the world solo by his own code.
Here you will find inspiration and my experiences I want to share with u, as well as recommendations and advices for your next journey. But beware: it’s only authentic stuff here to find!

LUGGAGE
Living out of a suitcase is a strange thing? No, because it absolutely gives you a sense of total freedom. I use the Samsonite*, for frequent travels, and for a backpack journey the Deuter 70 + 15L*. As a daypack and for hiking, I recommend you gotbag*.
CAMERA
Unfortunately, there is a strong trend towards video at the moment. But in my opinion, they can’t replace a photo and especially the imagination that comes from watching it. I use the Nikon D5500 with the AF-P 18-55mm lens.
SMARTPHONE
Exploring new places without taking a nice shot here and there, capturing impressions or preparing stories for Instagram, my iPhone 11* must never be missing in my luggage. I take notes along my trips so as not to miss any details which I share with you here.
DRONE
Letting the drone fly is one of the highlights of my travel, also to complete all my digital impressions. I am a drone pilot of a DJi Mini 2 Fly More Combo*.
